Dear Patient
Some holiday destinations make recommendations on which vaccinations travellers should have before travel. The following vaccinations are available from your GP:
- Poliomyelitis (Given as combined Diphtheria, Polio, Tetanus)
- Typhoid
- Hepatitis A
- Cholera
Please note Olive Family Practice Require a minimum of 6 weeks’ notice before you travel to ensure that the vaccine has sufficient time to protect you but also to provide your GP surgery sufficient time to arrange an appointment. If you leave booking an appointment too late you will have to access these vaccinations through a private clinic at a cost to you.
If you require a certificate or form completing to prove that you have had the above NHS supported travel vaccines, then this can be completed by your GP surgery but is likely to incur a charge as completing certificate/forms is not covered by NHS services. Check with your GP surgery regarding charge for completing certificate/forms as there is no fixed charge for this service.
